Anya Carved Heart - Natural
These delicately carved hearts make wonderful all year round decorations. They are hand made from sustainable mango wood and available in small or medium.
Size: Medium (10cm height x 10cm width); Small (6cm height x 6cm width)
The mango wood is sustainable. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. This not only means that none of the wood is wasted but offers a supplementary income to mango wood farmers. Mango wood is a hard wood that comes in many shades from light to dark.
These hearts are a fair trade product.
