Frequently and Not-So-Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my order?: As a rule of thumb we say to allow 2-5 days for the arrival of your order but the majority of parcels will be posted within 24 hours of ordering. If there are any delays (such as a product being out of stock and we’re waiting on a re-delivery) then you will be notified straight away. We always let you know that your order is being dealt with and also when it’s gone in the post, so you won’t be kept in the dark!
I saw a product on the site previously and can’t find it now — where is it?: A number of items we sell are unique one-offs so when they’re gone they’re gone. Just drop us a note if you took a shine to something and it’s not there anymore, we should be able to get it back so don’t panic, Mr Mainwaring.

I am a designer and I make lovely things from recycled/vintage bits and bobs, can I send you some info about this?: Why of course! Just send us an email with as much info as possible about what you make, why it’s suitable for The Green Apple, prices etc. If it’s right up our street then we’ll get in touch.
A product that is meant to be in the sale looks like it's gone up in value rather than down... what's going on?: This has confused a few customers.. the thing is when an 8 has a strike through it, it looks like a 0.
If I want to place an order for lots of the same thing (eg I want 60 boxes of Love Tea for my wedding favors), will you do me a lovely discount?: Depending on what the item is and how many you want, we can always work out nice deals for large purchases.
One of the items in my cart is Free Shipping, but when I go to checkout I am being charged for postage, why?: Free shipping only applies to the items that are listed as Free Shipping. If you add extra items to your basket then you will need to pay postage costs as normal. Obviously if your total is over £50 you are still entitled to free postage overall, so just drop us a note and we'll send you a code to remove any postage costs.
